Los Angeles born Dakota Blue plays his own brand of surreal guitar-driven chamber pop, that falls somewhere in between dreamy shoegaze, noir-tinged new wave, and west coast western. Blue, whose experimental recordings typically consist of a layers of multi-layers lush rhythm guitars and synths, searing slide and lead guitar melodies, and vocals singing playful lyrics about paranoia and shifting personas.

Blue has other musical projects such as: Night Columns, Kinolectro, Buckaroo. Outside of making records, Blue is also composer. Additionally he has also played live in other LA bands including Maraschino and March Adstrum.
